Who we are
Collegiate Educational Planning was founded by Casey Barneson. With over 10 years of experience in the world of college counseling, Casey brings her professionalism and expert guidance directly to you.
The college landscape is constantly changing. It is paramount to stay on top of trends and connected with admissions to best advise families. We are involved in higher education organizations, leading the path through teaching others, and keeping our case loads small to maintain quality counseling.
Your initial consultation will begin with gathering information and discussing a plan moving forward. All with the mindset of getting you to your future goals.
Each year, Casey guides families through the college application and admission process. To keep the integrity of the practice, the yearly caseloads will remain small. Casey works with the whole student, looking at not just college and career goals, but personality, extracurricular interests, etc. No one journey is the same, which is why applying to college and choosing a career is never linear. We will simplify deadlines, help reduce stress in the process, and focus on your interests, goals, and strengths to maximize your chance for success in admissions.
